Who We Are
Who We Are At Rutherford Memorial, we are a family of believers with the mission of extending God's love by serving our community to grow disciples. All of God's people are welcome and valued at our church. No matter your talents, we have a place for you at RMUMC.
"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12 (NIV) What We Believe As United Methodists, we believe in God, who is revealed in three distinctive persons: God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit. We believe that we are all imperfect, and that Jesus died to save us from sin. Through Him, we may have eternal life. We believe that all people matter to God and that we must love others just as He loves us. |
