Rutherford Memorial Welcomes Kids!
We have classes for all ages during Sunday School which meets on Sundays `at 11 am, immediately following the 10 am service.
Additionally, you'll find children sprinkled among the Wednesday night dinner tables learning from and loving on adults and youth. It is truly a time of fellowship for everyone. The before dinner prayer circle gathers at 6:30 pm each Wednesday from September through May with a holiday break through December. After dinner, you'll find more classes for all ages.Classes finish by about 8.
As well as normal classes, Rutherford invites children to join several yearly programs.
Hearts for the Homebound - A Valentine's Day ministry to the shut-ins of our community: Families deliver the Valentines and visit with those who cannot easily visit us.
Easter Egg Hunt - Children enjoy a Bible lesson, crafts, an egg hunt, and a teen dresses as the Easter bunny for pictures.
Vacation Bible School - We offer classes starting at about the age of four up through around 13. Older youth may take on a helping role.
The Christmas Play - Actors are welcome even from the youngest among us. We can't have too many sweet little baby angels.
